Marte Meo Supervisorin
In 2008, while studying rehabilitation education, I discovered Marte Meo and have been fascinated by this method ever since!
I started with video analysis in therapeutic education with horses and was then able to work with Marte Meo in more and more social work areas, such as early intervention centers, day care centers and daycare centers. Marte Meo is simply the most effective tool there is in education to guide development in a positive direction and to make work in the social field much easier.
I had the great gift of first starting my Marte Meo training with Josje Aarts and then completing the supervisor training at the Marte Meo Institute in Eindhoven with Maria Aarts, the founder of this method.
My personal concern is to recognize and support potential.
"Children should get two things from their parents: roots and wings"
JW von Goethe
People need two things to be happy:
Stable relationships and opportunities for growth.
"Marte Meo" is Latin and means "by one's own strength" and is intended to support parents, educators, therapists, teachers and other educational professionals in stimulating development processes. Every person is born with a gold mine and uncovering it is the job of the educator.
Full potential development
Marte Meo is development support, coaching and supervision using video analysis.
The Marte Meo model focuses on the skills and resources of parents, teachers or children. Difficulties are seen as opportunities for development.
Maria Aarts does not speak of disorders, but of “developmental steps that have not yet been taken”.
The children’s own communication structures are clarified using video analysis and their perception is sharpened.
